Áine currently holds the position of Teaching & Research Development Librarian at MU Library, with responsibility for the TRD team in the Library, which delivers teaching and learning activities and resources; provides research support; and co-ordinates academic engagement initiatives. Áine has over 20 years’ experience working in academic, corporate and specialist library environments. She has held roles on the Library Association of Ireland Council, and was previously Chair of the Academic & Special Libraries Section of the LAI. She is currently the Chair of the CONUL Teaching & Learning Group. Áine has spoken widely at events and conferences, and has particular interest in active learning in information literacy, and the use of technology to enhance learning opportunities.
